BATON ROUGE, EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH – An exhibition of the works of artist Eric J. Brown titled “Text & Context” will be on display at the Shaw Center for the Arts (100 Lafayette Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana) beginning on December 2 and running through January 23. The reception for this exhibition will take place Saturday, December 17, 2011, 7-9pm.

Through brilliant abstract paintings, scrolls in vessels and wire sculptures, Brown explores a language by which all in existence relate. This exhibition is free and open to the public during the Shaw Center’s business hours of 9am-11pm Tuesday – Saturday, 11am-5pm Sunday and 9am-4pm Monday.
